Hoeneß didn't have many marbles to begin with, but it seems he's lost any that were left.

Has Neuer dropped off since returning from his foot injury? Ter Stegen has been pretty solid for Barcelona.

So Sanchez, scores on his debut with Inter, because of course right.
BUT THEN, he picks up a second yellow, sent off for diving.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Brugge up 2-0.
Has anyone told Madrid that they cant buy most of Brugge's team at half-time to try and win this match?

Zidane had the dream exit and came back. Hope the money was worth it.

I imagine it had to be because Zidane left because he knew the Club was in trouble and came back before they fixed anything.

He had free reign and an open wallet this summer and got myopic on addressing the wrong places. This is largely on him.

And by fixed anything of course you mean signed Ronaldo back. He certainly helped keep a lot of those cracks patched those last couple years.

Really? This summer wasnt ideal for transfers, most teams didnt do a huge ton of business, but that Madrid squad is getting old.
Ramos cant keep hauling them out of the fire, Kroos and Modric are great and their positions dont rely too heavily on them being physical and they're still among the best ball-moving midfielders in the game.
But the defence is leaky and slow at best and not having a star striker in the mold of Ronaldo hurts, Hazard is great, but streaky and usually thrives with a proper front-man.

Well, being solid and steady and having a game-breaker does gloss over a lot of problems, they certainly dont have that at the moment.
You can get away with a lot in the Spanish league because its not particularly fast or physical, but you can see where that lets you down outside of Spain.

You're not replacing Ronaldo. What you can do is be honest about the squad and start addressing defensive liabilities. Not get obsessed with Pogba all summer. Selling Marcos Llorente, and to a rival none the less, was the first sign that things weren't going to go well.

It's not just this window either, Courtois has been ass, and to boot they sold off Navas who has a good track record. Just been a bad run of recruitment and management.

Well Arbeloa is in now, which is actually pretty dramatic since Zidane is stubborn with his guys.

It has hardly just been this window, absolutely, but the last window was interesting because the prices were outrageous and there just really wasnt anyone worth buying.
And yes, theres a lot of places RM have to address.
Real Madrid really need to be youthenized. Or euthanized. Either way. I do enjoy watching them struggle.
Maybe Zizou can headbutt someone again.
