I’m hoping for Martin O’Neil at Stoke, seems like the best to dig us out of this mess and I really liked him at Celtic years back. There’s talk it might be a caretaker position for the rest of the season which will let him keep on as the Ireland man.

Liverpool trying to bring the Naby Keita deal forward and are speaking to Leipzig about it. Leipzig probably want an extra £18-20m on top of what Liverpool have already paid them. Seems like that’s the priority this window. Will suck paying for a player they already own but if it gets them in the CL again it will be worth it.

Looks like Liverpool have slapped a £30M pricetag on Sturridge, I cant see anyone paying that, if he was more healthy I'd change my tune, but I cant see anyone buying Sturridge for that, but if they get it then great.
Also rumours that they're looking into Jack Butland.

Butland? Seems odd. I just assumed they'd be taking a run at Fraser Forster.

I'm not keen on either of them personally as:
1. English goalies tend to suck and we have that already.
2. English players within the EPL tend to be very, very expensive.
If we're going to back up the Brinks truck I'd prefer they went a different option. There were rumours of Donnarumma while AC are broke, so that could be more realistic.

Oh! I've just gotten so used to calling them 'Liverpool 2.'
Everyone's got to have a Farm Team, just like Manchester United is Real Madrid's and Liverpool are Barcelona's.

I watch Butland a lot, great goalie and he’ll probably be going somewhere if not this window then definitely over the summer. He’ll get more than Pickford did (hopefully).

Would be a mad decision by Liverpool.
They need to go after Allison from Roma or someone of that ilk. Klopp is going for the very best and Butland isn’t that.

yup. At first I thought it was a play by the agent to speed up the City transfer and/or get more money, but there seems to be more to it. The bookies have turned over the last 48 hours and Mourinho gave his typical "I don't speak about other team's players, but he's a phenomenal player" speech yesterday. So they are definitely trying to get him. I think it's a no-brainer too, around 30m is a joke in today's market for a gamebreaker like him. I think Sane and Sterling have played so well that Sanchez is no longer a priority for City, making United a real possibility. Not getting my hopes up and still think he'll eventually sign for City, but yeah, good to see that they are trying to steal him.

Sanchez to City made more sense in the summer when we had no idea that they'd end up being one of the most dominant PL teams ever, but yeah right now it really doesn't. If anything bringing him now in threatens to disrupt what seems to be a group who enjoy playing together, especially with the rumours he's not very well liked in the Arsenal room. It also wouldn't surprised me to see Chelsea get involved and for Wenger to sell to them instead of United out of spite to Mourinho. I think that could be a big impediment in the end, unless United go over the top to sign him.

West Ham is obliterating Huddersfield in the second half. The speed and strength of Arnautovic has really been paying dividends.

Quite a soft red card against Chilwell there. Leicester have been looking good this game too, will be tough to get anything out of it now.

Full credit to Moyes, I think we all had West Ham getting relegated after hiring him, but he's turned it around and they are almost certainly safe.

The price sounds low, but if he's not going to sign an extension there they either have to move him now or he leaves for nothing this summer. That's why Barkley was on £15 this month as well.

I don't know about certainty and safety. They're much improved, which is shocking, but it's tight between relegation and mid-table at this point. A couple losses against the wrong team and you're right in the thick of a relegation battle, just like a couple wins gets you out.
