Golden Tee Door prize- vote for location. poll closes at 11:00 AM Tuesday.
I was trying to sell my GT in the FS forum but some CP'ers have suggested a raffle. If I get 32 people that will put in $25 each (Email Interac, Cash, maybe Paypal) I will give it to one of the paid entrants. You can buy as many 'door prize' entries as you want to increase your odds.
About the game: It is a GT 2005 with 5 courses. It is the Fore series which includes the backspin button. The machine is in great shape and there is nothing wrong with it. If something ever goes wrong in the future, I can help with repairs or upgrades. Feel free to check out the FS add here for pics and more info: http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=74037.

Seeing as this was my idea at first, count me in as well - 1 ticket.
PM me where to send the Interac Transfer, and I'll do it tonight when I get home!

I have no idea what rules apply to your situation but Id be careful. If you get a disgruntled ticket buyer, you might have problems. One thing to consider is how are you going to hold the draw to ensure its fair and everyone believes its fair?

I would say the best way to make sure it appears to be fair is have a CP meeting for a beer and hold the draw there.

That sounds like a heck of an idea.

We only need 32 tickets so not necessarily 32 people.
Due to the AGLC stuff this will not be a raffle but instead a GT tournament with a $25 entry fee and BYOB. All entrants will have a chance to take home the machine.
I will print out all of the names and do everything in front of everyone so there are no concerns about scamming.
I won't take any money for now but as soon as we get close to the number of tickets, I will ask everyone to pay cash or email money transfer.

The idea of a tournament is an awesome idea.
Too bad that I really suck at Golden Tee.

Like a GT tournament that happens to be settled by random draw?

Well, it could be a Golden Tee Tournament and the first name picked gets an automatic "score adjustment" of -40 strokes.
