Yep. I've had to evolve 5/6 of my top 6...which is how it rolls in my 'hood. More Drowzee, Pidgey and Rattata than you can see. Anything else? Nope.
Also...the medals are a bit wonky, no? The one for catching Rattata shows me as having caught 5...but my Pokedex shows me as having caught 27

I've caught a 47CP Dragonite, and today i caught a 31CP Golduck... That's right kids.. 47 and 31..

That's a better roster than what I had at level 13. 
I believe there's a criteria for the captured Rattata. I remember one of the medal ones said "big" something or whatnot. I'm thinking there's a CP requirement or something.

Live in an area 1.5 km to closest pokestop, but we are exploring fantastic places in and around Montréal that are Poke awesome. Was in historic Chambly today where cherry blossoms were raining down on 25 stops on a 1km stretch by the old Fort. Have talked to more people out and about in the last week and a half than I have in the couple years I've lived here.
Thoroughly enjoying playing this game. Fantastic family activity.
