I don't think you're in the minority. From what I understand, most people who listen to or watch RPG streams aren't gamers themselves. The shows are more like a narrative podcast, or the channels on Youtube where you watch other people play videogames.

I put the Glass Cannon on in the background when I'm doing dishes or walking the dog. And even then I often skip ahead, sometimes entire episodes, because I find it tough to listen to dudes play out a combat against a couple wargs for 47 minutes.

Glass Cannon really shines when they are role playing, outside of combat and dice rolling.

I still love the idea of D+D and look back fondly at our drunken games in college, where we were more apt to turn on each other, or try to attack the Dungeon master then actually play the game

I just launched a D&D Project on Kickstarter yesterday. it's reference cards for 5th edition monsters. If anyone here is interested, please check it out.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ats?ref=2ip0xn

I would also be really grateful if you shared the project with any friends who may be interested. I've been working on this for a couple of years as an after-work hobby and I really hope that we can make it a reality.

Thanks for the support. You'll be happy with the product.

I have not been on the subreddit yet because I want to wait until I can put my best foot forward. I think you only get one chance with Reddit so I want to make it count.

Those look great! As someone who dabbles in graphic design I appreciate the clean layout. Really dig the art style as well. My group of friends and I are just getting started with D&D and these look super helpful. Will back this later today and I've already sent it to some friends. Best of luck!

Recently partook in a playtest/let's play -podcast for a friends minirpg called "Cars & Family". It's a Fast & Furious -themed variant of the one-page rpg "Lasers & Feelings".

Tons of fun!

A really good choice if you feel like playing a lighthearted one-session rpg that's instantly playable. (Takes a bit of improvisational skills from from the GM though.) You could probably lure you're "I'm too cool for roleplaying games" buddies to play this Cars & Family . Or your nerd buddies to play Lasers & Feelings.

(The podcast is not officially out yet, and will in in Finnish anyway.)

Note: (which only makes sense if you read the rules.)

Spoiler!

Thanks a lot! I'm really excited to get these made. I prefer a modern design to the usual 'old parchment' style you see in D&D stuff and it helps to see real people appreciating the design as much as I do

I don't play D&D but the kids have been bugging me to try it. Hopefully we'll have a few games in before these arrive.

Very wise - Reddit is not a forgiving environment.

Printouts at Imaginary Wars, Metal Galaxy, Sentry Box etc?

Any chance you could do these for the FFG Star Wars RPG?

Sentry Box backed us on Kickstarter for a retailer pack of 16 decks! That was very exciting for me.

We just printed 100 sample cards with a blurb about the Kickstarter for passing out in person but I don't know if retailers are into advertising a Kickstarter campaign because they don't get any money out of it. I can call tomorrow to find out.

Never played it. Is it fun? How does it compare to D&D 5e besides the theme?
