Stone isn't the greatest...at like anything, but I still like his play in front of the net and along the boards. He's had himself a nice stretch on the bottom pair since getting into the line-up.

The more I see of Backlund this year the more I think the Flames should expose him to Seattle to get out of that contract. His game is regressing fast.

That’s what I mean. Good defensive play, puck under his control, banks it to a Hab and chaos ensues. And he literally just did it again. For a defensive Dman it’s kind of weird. Maybe he’s scared of an over the glass penalty.
