so far, 150 players have missed games due to Covid protocol

https://www.cbssports.com/nhl/news/n...ine-decisions/

some are due to quarantine after being traded, but never tested positive. Ehlers only missed practice day, not a game. Robertson was on the taxi squad so didn't actually miss any games

It looks like they've played three times before on May 19. Twice, they lost in double OT (Game 3 in 1989 against Montreal and Game 7 in 1995 against San Jose) and the other time, they won the Western Conference in Game 6 against San Jose in 2004.

Final 4 games of the season vs. Vancouver. With Montreal finished, it could be a head to head fight for the final spot between Flames and Canucks. That would be exciting.

Gotta wonder if the Leafs and Senators home games are in jeopardy with the Covid situation getting worse in Ontario.

If this schedule holds up, I think the Flames and Canadiens should be even in games played by May 1st plus all the head to head games will be done. The Flames should have a couple games in hand before Montreal finishes the season. Situation should favor the Flames.

Is the NHL moving the Canada games to the regular HNIC time slots tomorrow or are they sticking with east in the afternoon and west at 5pm?

That is one day better than the Flames did in 1986 when they lost the Cup on May 24th.

The Oilers-Jets will be played 3 hours earlier starting at 5:00 PM. Hwy19man messaged me that TSN and RDS didn't want to give up their regional rights to the Sens-Habs game.
