I don't really think so, no. He doesn't really stand out in any particular way. I suppose he's renowned for his defensive game but he doesn't take the big matchups and, according to Pick224, the Heat have had a negative goals-for differential when he's been on the ice.
With Kinnvall and Kuznetsov becoming full-timers next year, I think Yelesin will be squeezed out.

Zavvy was playing in a bottom-six role for much of the season. He struggled a bit early on and I think the coaches were trying to get him to build good habits and play a simpler game.
He's gaining confidence every game now and is starting to blossom. He looked pretty good even before he started producing.

He doesn't get a lot of hype, but I consider Zavgorodniy to be the same caliber of prospect that Mangiapane and Dube were/are. Hard working, competitive, Top 9 forward type who can play in all situations who can battle in the corners and drive the play with his speed.

Calgary was not kind to the Heat this season. 2-8-1 at the Saddledome, where they haven't won since February 26.
Outside of the 8 game winning streak at the beginning of the year, the Heat have only won 2 other games all season.
Now, they travel to Winnipeg to play a 5 game series against the Moose to finish their season... Then, the rest of the Division keeps playing for another 2 weeks.
I have no idea what is going to happen with the playoffs. Right now, the Heat are last in the Division, but other than Laval, the rest of the Division is pretty close.

I just checked the standings earlier this week and the Heat were 2nd in the division. Wow things can change in a hurry, for better or for worse.
Yes, hopefully Parsons can get a few games in.

Can you expand on this or share some information?
I know the lease in Stockton is up and besides that I’d be surprised if they return. I know Colorado Springs has an empty arena for which they are seeking a tenant but all I have found is a rumor on reddit that the deal for the Heat fell through. They were definitely in negotiations just prior to the pandemic.

The previous President wanted it to happen, and that’s where the rumours were coming from. It was not going to occur.
