Check out Koko Brown by Kona Brewing Company if you can ever find it anywhere. Caramel/Coconut taste... It's damn good.

They have this at Hudson's. It's delicious.
It's nice to have a good beer at a typical bar!

It has the taste I enjoy with red ales but it didn't quite satisfy me. Maybe it was the $18 I paid for a sixer; damn pricey.
I also scooped up the Granville Island Robson Street Hefeweizen last weekend.
I tried this brew last year and really enjoyed it. This year however it comes across as too fruity. While I'm sure to enjoy one out on the deck after finishing up the days yard work, I don't think it will be a regular occurance in my fridge.

PIke has a stout I really like. It's a strong beer, but if you like that sort of thing, I recommend it: http://www.pikebrewing.com/beers_PikeXXXXXStout.shtml
I've had a the Kona Big Wave Golden Ale, and enjoyed it. Wasn't the greatest beer I've ever had, but was certainly above average.
I'll have to check out your recommendations.

But yeah basically everything you said, especially the "pints" things. Except every time I've tried to go there it's been stuffed with french shower/ed hardy kinda crowd as oppose to hipsters.
Honestly Beer Revolution is everything Craft Beer Market should have been.

I will have to check it out next time I am in Calgary, thanks.
I think I have posted both of these in here before but if you get the chance grab a 606
Brewed by Paddockwood here in Saskatoon, one of the best IPA's I have come across yet. They sell the mixer packs in Calgary, 606 is in there.

I pre-ordered a six pack of Westvleteren 12 tonight. It will be here in July. Never tried it before but I hear it is going to be great.

They released six packs this year internationally because the abbey is under construction.
I bought them in GP. The liquor store had 60 sixes to sell. I am sure someone in Calgary is selling them.

Our liquor store has sold out now from the reorder. If you can find out which liquor stores are carrying them you can probably still preorder if they have any left. From what I hear though no one liquor store got very many so it might take some calling around.

For Ruby Red, I've had O'Hanlon's a few times and really enjoyed it... sadly I can't get it where I live.
Also, the state I live in is finally putting out some good beer. For those living in the US, the Surly beers are worth a try. Flavourful, heavy, and come in pint cans. I recommend the Surly Furious to start with...

I just preordered some today and the guy said July 1st is that date he was just told that they'll be in. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say the name of the place that I ordered from or not. If I am, just let me know and I'll put it up, if not, anyone that is interested just PM me and I will let you know.

Not sure how to embed a video from YouKu, but here is a vid of the making of a draft beer tricycle at the Shanghai Beer Festival last weekend. From putting the custom trike together & loading up the kegs to cycling through Shanghai and enjoying draft beer poured from the taps on the trike at the festival.
My friend and I are going to start using it to make videos about pairing beer with street foods in Shanghai as we ride around the city with kegs and stop and different stalls and food streets.

If anyone has good ideas on music for a soundtrack to it that would be cool too.

I just bought this beer today, haven't tried it yet though. Also picked up some 1664 blanc, Duvel, and Delirium.
Also ordered some Westie 12, should be here July 13...

One of my favourite new beers I just discovered on Canada Day is Big Wheel Deluxe Amber by Amsterdam Brewery. Their site only mentions availability at LCBO and Beer Stores, so I'm not sure if it is available outside of Ontario, but it is worth a try for sure!

Word. I almost bought one the other day. Some IPA I had never heard of. On my way out of the cooler i was reading the label and saw it was from Calgary and the web address was damngoodbeer.com. Oh hell no.
I went to high school with one of the Minhas. I guess their business plan is clever. By continually introducing garbage beer that's marketed as craft beer they accidentally trick people into buying it a few times. I as well as my friends are careful to not fall for this though.
