Come on Disney, you're killing me. If she was a girl would she be Lori Ann? Even Dal would have been better.

I had assumed people were calling him Mando because it was common shorthand for Mandalorian.

Yeah we don't know his name yet, he's just the Mandalorian. Or Mando for short.

It goes back to the man with no name thing.

She's probably the worst actor I've seen in the last 10 years, so hopefully this is a better job for her.

Ep 4 was easily the worst episode so far for me. Hopefully they can bring it back up for the next one. Just a hiccup.

I agree. Just didn’t enjoy it at all.

At various times I felt I was watching an episode of either Stargate, Star Trek, or Xena Warrior Princess.

Hard to explain. Just felt cheesy.

But yes ... Baby Yoda drinking bone broth was a terrific high note.

I was thinking the same thing. There definitely something about it that made it seem like a late 90s / early 2000s sci fi show.

There's some very odd things in there. For example, when all the characters are drinking fake soup, but there wasn't anything actually in the bowls. They were blatantly just pretending to swallow.

Overall it was still enjoyable. It was very much a filler episode though, which is strange for a show with so few episodes.

My boy liked it (and maybe that's good enough for the younger audience) but it was a pretty bad episode and I hope that this show is above the typical TWD filler episodes to extend a season.

Binged it on the weekend. Like most, I wish they were a bit longer now that I have caught up. I do think baby Yoda is just playing it up and is a lot more functional than what he has let on. Kind of like Nibbler in Futurama.

In my opinion he should at least be able to talk a bit.

I don't know if I want him to talk. I know its coming, but having a Baby Yoda wandering around calling the Mandalorian "Dadda" while grabbing everything around him and screaming "Mine" would really dampen things for me.

I like that the baby is completely helpless right now.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the series end with a Yoda like statement coming from baby Yoda. I also think there's a good chance that baby Yoda has some kind of purpose and motive that he'll ultimately fulfill ending in his death. A major reason for this prediction is that we don't have a full grown Yoda later on in the universe.

Speech is as much a physical ability as it is mental. Maybe that species is blessed with the cerebral capacity of a god, but are stuck in slowly developing useless bodies.

That is what i think as well. The whole size matters not and taking complete advantage of people because of it. Push came to shove he showed a inkling of his power. I think he is smart enough not to show to much.

Even Anakin with no training had visions of the future. Baby yoda knows what he is doing and is with the mando for a reason.

Chances are. We don't see a Baby Yoda like creature in the ST at all. I originally thought that they'd have this scene where The Mando hands him over to a Jedi.

I just don't know if I want to hear it talk, because I keep hearing old Yoda's voice, in my head.
