Can this please be the low water mark for this season? That was just pathetic hockey. It can't get worse... right?

No accountability on this team. Play like crap.. keep playing!
Some serious benching is required but our coach has no guts to do it.
It's a good thing the players aren't fully paid to play during this pandemic...

Brutal game. The saving grace tonight was Hrudey and Ball
Only thing that would have made this night worse is if we had a Ball/Cassie combo. Who have zero chemistry, unlike Ball/Hrudey. At least we were given some comedic chatter during that game. Those two are golden.
I am hoping we see a firing of Tre, Pascall, Maloney and Ward. Clean house.

Team is garbage, and is playing like garbage.
No heart.
No fight.
No soul.
Can’t skate, pass, shoot, or hit.
Will not do anything useful this season.
I said it a week or so ago - their best hope is that the whole team catches covid and they have to cancel the season.

None. Tre will be fired if they don't make the playoffs.

I am going to blame Gio. Trade his ass or bench him.

Geoff Ward's handling of the goalies this season should be grounds for firing.

Outside of Hrudey's wardrobe malfunction, not much entertainment value in this game.
I don't blame Rittich. I think when you force a goalie to play in God-mode, you can't expect that type of performance 3x in a row, much less 3x in 4 days, especially coming in on a back-to-back.
Flames continue to bleed chances and not generate much. Great push for 5 minutes in the first, 5 minutes in the second, and about 10 in the third though.
Last week, I didn't stated that Ward won't finish this week unless the Flames turn it around. They haven't shown anything other than impressive goalie efforts.

Holy ####. How many horrible games do you need for them to pull the plug on a move of some kind, any kind?
This team is in serious trouble.

But, I also agree we've yet to see a coach with an established track record get a shot with this team. I think both are serious issues with this team frankly.
A Gallant/Boudreau type of coach in with a big shakeup trade is probably what's needed, but logistically I don't think Treliving makes either, especially during the season. Which only complicates the problem because the solution then is to replace Treliving, which means you're gambling that whoever comes in next doesn't also run into the blindspots.
Doing nothing though is infuriating because this is painful, boring hockey to watch for the most part.

A fresh set of GM eyes might see things differently, no? At least we could hope.

I understand our record isn’t that bad. And in theory the season is far from over. But for the first time in my life since I was a little kid, I’m not making an effort to watch the games or follow along. That’s scary too me, as I’ve been through some #### with this team.
When we win, it’s by the hair on our chin and boring. This team has needed a shake up to its core for well over 3 years. I think Ward is a terrible coach, but the blame is all on Treliving. He’s a shrewd guy and he doesn’t seem like much of a risk taker. I truly believe for this team to turn around at this point it needs to being with Tre being shown the door and bringing in someone ready to give this team a new identity.

What is the upside, though? Realistically...out in 5 games in the first round?
I refuse to believe a single coach, let alone the 4-5 this group has gone through, impacts the team THAT much to explain the effort we're seeing most nights.
Where's the self respect?

There should really just be a _________ after “handling of” and before “should be grounds for firing”.
We could create quite the list.

Probably going to get sh@t on for this but I think it's time Gio let's go if the captaincy and gives it to someone like Monahan or thachuk. I also feel like he should be playing less minutes these days.
Change up the voice before it's too late.
