3/4 pts is good. Defensive game was good but the offense is just... not generating anything. This can be a dangerous team and I want to see a return to that kind of offense.

There is zero margin for error with this kind of game. It's not good. This is not a team of checkers.

Rittich awesome. Flames get 3 out of 4 and a post away from 4 out of 4. Desperation level was not where it needed to be. Need to make up some points against Ottawa.

Considering the state the Flames entered these 2 games against the Leafs, 3 out of 4 points is good news

That was an absolute travesty. Feel bad for Rittich, if I were him I’d be throwing stuff at my teammates to reciprocate emotion and respect. Brutal.

This team is as bland and boring as their head coach. Get rid of Ward before he coaches all the talent out of these guys!!

Something on a graph said that Monday wasn’t great.

Graphs matter.

BSD deserved better. Normally getting 3/4 points in Toronto would be a big win but It's hard to feel great after this game. I don't think the talent disparity between these teams is that big but the disparity between the way they play is grand canyon sized. I was pretty impressed tonight by the way the Leafs play as they are quick on the puck and smart with their positioning and sticks. Flames by comparison played like a team that has no system outside of being told to collapse. This hockey is awful and it makes the Flames look a lot worse than they are.

That OT winner was all on Monahan. Use your stick, take a penalty, literally anything but let him cruise right on past you to the net.

Honestly that ending fit the script of this season's Flames to a T.

I expected TO to tie after the relief for the Flames pulling ahead late. I knew they'd sit back or not sink the dagger when they'd get the chance.

Under Hartley this team would be desperate late to close it out. I remember those workmanlike efforts and sacrifices from everybody to close games out. Since GG that's changed.

Really casual with a potential double shutout on the line.

Hard to fathom. But exactly on brand. No surprise whatsoever.

I guess a sarcastic woohoo for 3 of 4 points in TO.

And don’t forget the 2 on 1 with an empty net that would have sealed the deal... that they didn’t even get a shot on goal.

Rittich was great, rat of the team was garbage.

Man the vitriol here is laughable. 3/4 points against the top team in the division, BSD looks to be back and just generally much better execution. That said they HAVE to find that killer instinct to close out games. I think we’ve been scored on 3 times with the opposing goalie pulled. Just beat Ottawa tomorrow.

Wow Monahan didn’t even try to get Nylander there. Terrible effort.

So weird, Flames play the Leafs again and do much better than the previous game. It's like coaches are allowed to make adjustments.

Ward hockey is beyond bad. It's so passive and just begs the other team to run all over you.

Dark season with this guy at the helm.

I don't understand how Brad Treliving could watch that game and be happy about his coach. I really don't.
