Rumours of an NFL Preseason game in Regina
Some friends of mine mentioned this, but I have no idea what the potential is.
Rumoured teams are Packers vs. Raiders

Rumours of a National Football League pre-season game coming to Regina have taken off, but officials are keeping the lid tight on any official announcement.

The CFL, NFL, Packers, Raiders, and even the city of Regina have declined to comment.
At February’s State of the City address Mayor Michael Fougere hinted at a major event coming to the stadium in August.

Having been to a pre-season NFL game before... If you think regular season NFL is boring...

they've been talking about this on riderfans for a couple of weeks.
nice way to take interest away from the CFL in the middle of the summer.
imagine the ticket costs.

Didn't this pretty much fail in Toronto? I seem to remember them having a hell of a time selling tickets.

Pre-season is such a useless waste of time.
I've always wanted to attend a Packers game, somewhere. And still plan to. Can't justify this being the time however. I just can't get in to an event where the outcome doesnt matter and the players arent invested.

Big difference between the first pre season game when there are no starters and about the 3rd one when the starters/stars are sure to get at least one quarter. I would personally consider this when deciding, and you would think a game like this would certainly be a first preseason game situation?
Regardless, the majority of fans might not see this distinction and the game will sell based simply on it being NFL pre season.

Packers game at Lambeau is on the bucket list for me. Logistics are aren't great (closest major airport is Chicago), but would rather do that versus watching a preseason game in Regina.

I went to a Bills preseason game once, not only was it super boring, but they didn't even sell booze, which made it 10x worse.

I think this is a thinly veiled ploy to get all Saskatchewan Football fans to congregate in one place so that they can be more easily exterminated.

Fly into Milwaukee and rent a car. Milwaukee is actually an underrated city, IMO.
