Only winning 3 grey cups since 2008 still disappoints me as a lifelong fan of this team, as someone who still remembers the awful years during the Eskimos dynasty in the 1970s/1980s and the SOS campaign in the mid 1980s, and i feel like that opportunity for 5 cups in a row was presented to us in recent seasons and we've missed it.
But the Stamps are clearly the class of the CFL and - as others have noted - have been since Buono arrived (minus the Feterik years).

They barely moved on discounting the upper corners that haven't had souls sitting on those benches in years, save for a game or two a year.

Ruh Roh, Trevor Harris just got knicked and it doesn't look too good.
Edit: Low hit by Odell Willis on Harris.

Looked like his knee bent backwards. Wouldn't be surprised if that's long term.

Hervey has build quite the steaming pile of manure. Mike Reilly is probably the only thing keeping the Lions from being worse than the Argos and Als. Not enough talent, head coach in over his head, bad discipline. They stink.

Wow, that play looked shut down and 70 some odd yards later, it's an Eskimos TD.

LOL nice defense Claybrooks. Another embarrassing moment for a team that's had many already this season.

Hervey brought in Reilly to a) win games and b) boost attendance at BC Place. Thus far, it's not working.

Well Toronto just lost to BC barely so I suppose they are worse but there's not a lot to choose between these teams. Looks worse on Hervey because he's got Reilly on his roster the Argos don't have a starting caliber QB so at least they have a bit of an excuse.

Nice catch by Davaris Daniels and the Eskimos are taking the Lions to the woodshed.

I'm sure the fans are having a great time tonight. I think we are going to have another Toronto situation on the west coast soon. If they can't turn things around they will be lucky to draw 15k in the fall.

Oh Durant. He's been good this season but he has to be better than that. That's probably going to seal this game.

Look I like Claybrooks, I think he's a great guy, I think he's an ernest coach.
I think he's not a head coach. He looked good coaching an absolutely stacked defense in Calgary, but he was always slow on the adjustments. When coaches make their adjustments Devone can't keep up.
He's actually got a very strong team in BC, and the coaching, the schemes and the playcalling are awful.
If BC struggles, like this through the year, Devone's done at the end of the year.
This is a case of him being promoted way to soon. I also think that he's not being supported by his assistants very well.
He had a stellar cast of coaches in Calgary that really worked the positions. I'm looking at fundemental play by the oline and receivers and its awful.

BC should have spent some more money fixing their OLine.

I cant believe how bad BC is looking so far this season
I, like many, had BC as a top 2 team in the west to finish the season. How are they this bad??

Now that Jones has screwed off back to the States, the CFL can lift the coaching salary cap. I don't know what purpose it serves at all.
But it's part of the reason why Claybrooks and Nik Lewis go to BC, Dickenson in Sask, and others. Teams have to take a chance on some cheaper guys for the league rules, not just taking a risk in trying to find the next young genius.
Goes same for the coach; take a paycut to stay with the Stamps staff under new coach cap rules, or get a 60% raise to go somewhere else.
