Sounds like he wanted to do things his way.
But really, I believe that the Als knew at the end of 2017 that they'd be trading for Manzeil before the 2018 season, and both to entice Manzeil by giving him an NFL coach and institute an NFL style system, they brought Sherman aboard and Sherman saw the opportunity, like many others, to be the guy to get the credit in resuscitating Manziel and his NFL career.
Now, no Johnny Football, no need for Sherman and probably no desire by Sherman to stay. And Kavis Reed is a stubborn person as well.

I thought he looked pretty good last night (made a terrific catch on a go route down the middle of the field). I think he's in a battle with Julan Lynch for playing time as Brescacin has one of the Canadian receiver positions locked up (haven't seen much of Sindani in the pre-season, so hard to say where Klukas lands on the depth chart).

I was only able to catch a bit of the game last night. Was there any significant injuries out of this one?

Didn't see all of the game (a certain NBA playoff basketball game distracted me last night), but I think the Stamps emerged pretty much injury free from last night's game. I saw one lineman that required a visit from the training staff, but he walked off under his own power. I think Arbuckle locked up the backup role behind Bo last night, Cozart looked pretty good, but he's still pretty raw (love the athleticism he showcases, though).

Complete list of Stamps transactions can be found in the following link - Biggest surprises for me are receiver Griff Whalen and linebacker Anthony Gore have been released.

Somewhat shocked Griff Whalen got cut. He could walk on to a number of other teams in the CFL and be in the starting rotation. I wonder if his age was a factor?

I think that’s a new CBA requirement. 2 spots for the global players on each PR, at least that’s was something I was reading on Twitter this week

This is true. 2 additional spots on the PR for Global players this year and going forward.

Im stunned...IMO he was the best WR we saw in the preseason games...limited viewing I understand but still.
Sad to see Gump on the cut list.

Just spent intermission of the hockey game looking at the Stamps roster.
It's a WHOLE lot of.....who are these guys?

I think the offense is really going to have to carry this defense for the first few weeks.

Yup - My biggest concern is who's going to get after the opposing QB?!? I don't think the Stamps can call a safety blitz on every play lol.

The new faces and inexperience are Ieague wide though. Outside of Reilly in BC, is there any QB that they need to fear of that position beating the Stamps and thus have to pressure?

I think it will be fun to watch though. The offense has been pretty conservative the last few years because they knew the defense would get them right back on the field. Also, I know it's still a small sample size but Arbuckle looked pretty smoove.

Harris is arguably the best qb in the league who just happened to be on mediocre teams. I think he will surprise in Edmonton.

Arbuckle has looked really good this pre season. I wouldnt doubt if the Atlantic Schooners have an eye on him towards the expansion draft.
