From 36 all out to winning the series is just incredible!
As much fun as 20/20 is, there's nothing that matches the drama of test cricket.

Australia has cancelled their South Africa tour due to COVID.
This means the Aussies have no chance to qualify for the World Test Championship. We will get to cheer for the world #1 Kiwis however as they will likely play India or England in the final.

Australia has a chance if England is able to perform well against India. If India wins the series 1-0 then Australia make it through.

There is a chance! I knew Australia couldn’t move up the standings but forgot about the other teams moving down.
Looks like England needs at least 3 wins to get through while India just needs 2 wins and a draw. Lots of chances for Australia, here’s hoping for rain!

I played cricket for the first time! I was invited to a operations vs sales indoor game after work. Thought it would be somewhat casual like softball but no this was proper cricket, just in a confined space on a hard indoor surface. I was left bloody and bruised by the end.
It was good fun though. I managed a couple wickets and didn’t embarrass myself with the bat. My coworkers observed I swung like a baseball player but it was effective. Speaking of baseball I’d say the batting is easier with the wider bat and the bowling is easier than pitching with the bigger target zone, but the fielding is much much harder.

IPL 2021 starts this weekend. Anyone know if it'll be on Willow again? Specifically looking for Telus. They usually give you Willow for free during the event, but it's always hard to see what they're going to do each year

From what I understand, Hotstar has the rights for Canada now. I seem to remember that when I subscribed a couple of years ago, it was $12.99/month, so the two months of IPL cost me $26. Now they only have an annual plan for $49.99.

No idea why Pakistan saved their least effective spin bowler until the death. Crazy that even after the 10 run no ball they still had a chance to win on the last ball and then he bowls a wide.

Pretty sure Pakistan knew India were going to go after Nazeem. Besides didn't the same bowler get pumped for 20 runs. You might as well run with your fast bowlers and try to make the last over target as close to insurmountable as possible.
