Yeah, no arguments about that penalty, he got hauled down.
Credit to Goetze though, he tried to fight through all the way to trying to take a final swing at the ball instead of going down.

Perriera made that way too easy to call.
Goetze looked like he was going down to draw the penalty no matter what and Perriera grabbing it him like that made it an easy call for the ref. Although that ball should have been cleared before it got to that point.

What I don't like is that anyone on the team can take the shot. Unless it's a special circumstance (hand ball or player is injured) I think whoever the foul was committed against, should be the one taking it.
There's a place for them and I understand why they happen, but in general, Im not the biggest fan of them either. They feel a little cheap.

Outside of Ronaldo this Portugal team is very average.
