Who are the people who care enough about the Flames to comment once per six years and it’s that about a topic like this? Wow.

It's actually amazingly terrible. I was hoping for somthing that didn't resemble my grandmothers old couch from the 50s.

I know a few artists that could have done an amazing job! One from India, another from Pakistan. They both are 2nd generation, but have close family from south Asia.

Is that an angry eye peeking out of the flames on the left of the C?

Art is a subjective thing, usually meant to be experienced subjectively.

There's no universal metric or rubric by which we can judge a piece of art great or terrible considering it plays by no particular set of rules.

Either you vibe with it or you don't.

You and I look at the mangiapane "C" and see beauty and experience arousal. Someone else sees it and they think someone shat on a plain tee.

If only the Flames knew that all they had to do was come ask PuckSlap from CP for ideas on their SE Asia logo…

I hope the Flames have a South Asian player one day, maybe I'll just have to get my kid there .

*But I find this design way too busy. A+ for thought and acknowledging the community, but not a fan of the result.

I also really appreciate the core symbolism & traditional colours elaboration; agreed be cool to have as offerings on t-shirts, etc.

That post that got that guy banned seems like it was made by someone who doesn't use English as their 1st language. Lot of hate for two sentences of the tamest "racism" I have ever seen.
