Well it looks like worst case scenario for England fans, they look just as bad or even worse without Rooney. Back into the starting lineup for next game without a doubt.

Well...they're not losing, they're just not winning. They'll probably still win.

But the fact of the matter is, these mid to low level National sides are where Rooney is at his best.

Wow Poland almost tied Armenia in Warsaw with Armenia being down to 10 men from the 30th minute and scoring another own goal.

Luckily Lewandowski scored in the FIFTH minute of stoppage time to win. Don't think Poland could recover from two ties to the minnows in group E.

God Lewandowski makes it hard to cheer for him. Such a #####.

Although the Romanian fans throwing firecrackers at players is not cool.

I'm not sure the Germans can pull this off.

BTW, over on this side, Brazil demolished Argentina, so national self-immolation day has been postponed.

thats the most flattering 3-0 I can think ive seen

England had 3 players who created chances that game, 2 of them were fullbacks, and Lallana was the 3rd

So are Croatia fans just perma-banned?

That is such a cavernous stadium to begin it's actually cool to be able to hear exactly what all the players are saying. Bonus: I know Croatian haha.

apparently Southgate has been offered the England job until 2020.

Really hoped Wenger would make the switch in the summer, but I can't say I'm shocked that the FA prefered to hire a boring yes-man like Southgate.

He'll get results. Well...better results than Roy anyways. Not that thats a high bar.
