Golf is hard. Everyone wants to improve, and as quickly as possible. This is one of my favorite youtube series where an average Joe attempts to do things at the professional level. We've talked about some of these things in this forum, so hopefully this will help with expectations and expectation leveling. There's some really great content in here that will hopefully help some of the players still developing their games an opportunity to understand some of the things they need to do to get better, and some of the advanced players to recognize some of the errors in their swing as they look for extra distance. Enjoy!
Just found out I'm going to Bandon Dunes! It's booked up through 2023 so I entered into a tournament and got waitlisted. A player had to withdraw and I'm in! 90 holes of golf in three days, but it should be worth the physical abuse. Also planning on making a trip of it and playing Reserve Vineland, Pumpkin Ridge, and making a run up to Chambers Bay. Probably add a couple extra on the coast to make the drive between sites less intense. Can't wait!
Sounds like an incredible trip. We'll expect a round by round break down/recap.
Also this prompted me to put in my request to Banden for May 2023.

Forecast for this week looks pretty decent, when does everyone think we’ll be out and playing? It wouldn’t shock me if TPC Fox Hollow is open this week

If it is double digits all week I'd be surprised to see Fox Hollow not open for the weekend.
Does anyone actually enjoy temp green rounds though? I find it takes away such a fundamental, crucial part of golf that I'd just rather wait until actual season opening.

Oh I hate temp greens, it doesn’t seem to take much warm weather for Fox Hollow to be on full greens and tee boxes though.

If I'm paying peak season, weekend rates at a course obviously temp greens are not acceptable but for an off-season Nov, Dec, March or April round I'm just happy to be out there and working on the game.

I'll be in San Francisco next week and am going to golf the TPC Harding Park. I'm looking forward to swinging the clubs on a course again, should be fun playing a course that has hosted the PGA Championship!

Anyone have any suggestions for club regripping in town here? I know I missed Golf Town's event by a week or 2... but I would like to get some clubs done.

Super easy to do yourself if you want to learn something new.
First time I did it I spent the better part of an evening in my garage. Now, I can do a full set pretty fast. I do all my friend's clubs for some beer and good conversation as payment.
