Relapse was ok. Recovery was to poppy for me but the lyricism was still their. I really hope that Slim Shady LP-Eminem Show Slim Shady shows up on this album (unlikely to happen though). This year's Hip hop hasn't really been that good.

Eminem Show was his best album and its been for hill since then.
Rick rubin produced the first single sounds like some guitar riff rock stuff. Probably going to be nothing like his slim shady album. He needs to grow.

I thought Recovery was brilliant all in all. I was looking forward to this album but another Marshal Mathers LP album, I'm not sure about. I hope he works again with Jim Jonsin though as he produces really good music for anyone he works with, though I'm not sure he's done anything recently. I hope it leaks early!

Ugh, the snippet was pretty cool but it really doesn't translate into a good full song.
Maybe it'll grow on me. This and the beat in Survival are kinda worrying. Hopefully it's not another "The constant accent in Relapse" situation.

I don't like this song at all. Ballsy move calling it MMLP2, but so far, sounds nothing like it.
Best hip hop this year so far is Run The Jewels, this isn't even in the same league as it.
