For whatever reason, I've always really enjoyed the basic hamburgers from DQ. The ones that are basically just a patty with some mustard and ketchup on top.

Five Guys has over 1000 locations, In N Out has 280, Carls Jr over 1200. Just cause you're too much of a provincial bumfata to try something new, doesn't mean they aren't popular.

Fie Guys is awesome, easily my favorite, but only in limited doses. Total meat sweats every time I am done.

For the 'Hipster bumfata' joints you are doing yourself a disservice by not trying Rocky's Burger bus at least once, sooo awesome, and their fries rock.

There is also a place across the street from The Wynn in Las Vegas next to the Fashion Show Mall entrance that has the best blue cheese burger I have ever had, and for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it.

edit: read, I cannot.

5 Guys was specifically acknowledged and excluded in the OP as it lacks a drive through. So there is that. Nothing to do with being closed to trying different places, everything to do with understanding the framework of the discussion.

Bumfata is a hilarious word though.

And In N Out is hot garbage.

I've never had Carls Jr. but I've seen 2 or 3 of them in BC in Vernon/Kelowna.

Yes!

That place is so good. And they have dollar beers for a good chunk of the day.

I'm pretty sure the guy was going to do his stupid hipster drive-by no matter what the OP said. Anyone who things a place like Five Guys or Carls Jr. is some sort of I'm cooler than you joint for hipsters (god I hate how people over use that term to bash everything btw) needs to get out more.

I wish Sonic or Checkers Drive-In would expand into Canada. Those places rock.

I try to avoid fast food, but used to be a sucka for A&W. Teen burger is wicked, and their fries with seasoning salt is better than McD's fries imo.
