I am thinking none of us are surprised by this.

I am surprised you don't have one for each wrist.

iCloud totally changes the game for iPad and iPhone music usage. I'm shocked at how well it works, even on 3G with a decent data plan.

Look at the economics, even if you only use iCloud on wifi - $100 per each extra 16 gigs of space, or $30 per year for essentially unlimited space for music on your device. $200 to get a 64 gig iPad is almost 7 years of iCloud, which is far longer than the device is realistically going to last.

Oh yeah for sure, he did a great job articulating what I was feeling as I went through the book. It was a relief to find his commentary on the book actually, because I thought there was something wrong with me.

I just wish iCloud gave you the option to stream or download the music. I have a smaller iPhone so if I listen to too much music I have to go into the app and delete a bunch of music otherwise my phone runs out of hard drive space. Everywhere else it seems to stream, but on the iOS devices it's download only. Bothersome.

Quick question for the Apple guys:

What cable do I need to hook up a 2011 MacBook Pro (I think that's what I have - it was a top-of-the line laptop I bought for my wife last year) to the HDMI port on my TV? I want to be able to watch stuff from the Internet on my TV. Best place to buy it? TIA!

Mini display port to hdmi, then an hdmi cable. New adapters like this can carry sound as well. They are 30$ at apple store or like 6$ shipped on eBay.

You will also need an audio cable. Mini jack to composite is the easiest.

Nah, these adapters carry audio through hdmi. The old adapters didn't, but the new ones do.

I hope the one I bought from memory express carries audio. I like this type of thing to be as easy as possible (obviously).

Is it the bytec one? If so should work.
When you hook it up, go to system prefs, sound, then choose hdmi (probably list the tv)

No, it's the Startech one: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX27077 and the description doesn't mention anything about sound. Crap!

Yeah, I'll buy that one if the one Memory Express one I bought doesn't work. Thanks.

Might be better off switching it with the bytec one they sell as that one supports audio

I ordered a $5 knockoff miniDP->HDMI and it supported audio too.

MBPs didn't support audio through miniDP until 2009 (possibly even 2010).
