OpenSource FLV encoders?
I'm trying to find an opensource program that will covert flv files to avi.
Anyone know of any?

I did that, and got a trial version, but it leaves a watermark on the video after converting it.
Not a big deal, but I support any open source software, yet its hard to find at times.

You could try VLC Player:
http://www.videolan.org/
Not sure if it does FLV encoding, but I know it does a lot of trans-coding without much need for messy codecs.

I think the URL for the website I use is vixy.net. Just past the URL of the FLV, and it will convert it, and you can save it from the site.
