Ahh, yeah thats what I figured. After a certain somebody is gone I take it.. Going to watch the end of that arc this season and then I think I'm done, I hate what a jarring turn the show just took mid-season. Thanks!

The show starts sliding in season 4 but the Ivar character destroyed any redeeming qualities left and I had to bail.

Yellowstone has 3 seasons. The Boys only has 2 seasons. For that reason alone I vote Yellowstone.
I've not watched all of them but have caught most of S1, and while incredibly far fetched, I am enjoying it.

Not sure. Never watched SoA. Yellowstone definitely has that Sopranos on a ranch vibe to it though. Obviously not as good as Sopranos though. Could just as easily be SoA on a ranch, instead of a biker gang, I guess.
Lots of family melodrama. But also lots of feuding with the natives, politicians, other ranchers etc.
Kevin Costner and Cole Hauser are good though. They play hard ass cowboys very well. Plus I grew up in rural AB and SK so there's a tiny bit of this that I feel like I can relate to, way toned down of course. Something about all these rednecks and their old school attitudes is funny to me.

I'd say do The Boys first, because it won't take that long and because it's more likely to be spoiled for you the longer you wait, a la GOT. You can take your time with The Expanse.

Yellowstone is awesome but I agree with The Expanse being the best if those to binge.

Currently watching The Expanse... slow start, and hard to get into for the first few episodes, but well worth it. In Season 3 now and binging hard.

Just finished watching The Boys. Loved it, even my wife loved it. I'm not big on space shows though so I'm a little biased. We did just finish the Boys today and now we're looking for something to watch now too. We went from watching Parks and Rec to the Boys and not sure which direction to go from there.

Hmm, given that maybe try Banshee if you haven't. Best comparable I have for The Boys...even includes Antony Starr (Homelander) in the lead role. Ultra violent and dramatic.

One of my favourite shows.
And it seems fitting that I'm quoting you, because I came to remind everyone that Season 3 of American Gods aired last night.

Strange. I don't recall seeing any hype or promotion for the third season. Kind of an odd strategy by Amazon.
Thanks for the heads up!
