For those that downloaded and pre-loaded the game on PS4. Are there any additional downloads I need to do before I can play tonight when I am home from work?
I launched the game this morning and got to the screen that gives you the option to go into the story but I didn't want to start until I am home from work tonight.
Really hoping I can get home and play right away.

I don't think anyone will be getting their Amazon pre-order. My date changed to "we have no idea...thanks!". Customer service just provides several copy and pasted paragraphs or how they are sorry and didn't expect that this would happen.

I got the same email. I bought it digitally anyway so it’s not a big deal.
I’m not cancelling because this is probably a ploy to get out of selling the game for $50, so screw them.

My tracking status was just changed to arriving between November 5th-15th to now just November 15th. It's days like this I miss living near their Richmond warehouse. Even if I didn't get an order on release day I got it a day or two later. I could just go and see if I can buy a copy at the store and then return it but I'm not even sure if they would have them in stock here yet.

Woke up too early so I decided to mash another hour before work, damn this game is beautiful. The morning dewey fog and sunlight is incredible, and that's only on my original PS4 in 1080p. Can't imagine what this looks like in 4K!
I can't wait to get home and mash all weekend, I'm jealous of my buddy I went to the 9pm release with, he had the foresight to book today off..

Best Buy in Red Deer didn't get their shipment. Saw a lot of disappointed folks like myself walking over to the EB Games in Southpointe Common.
Glad I didn't pre-order. I'll let you know my experience in a week when the game finally finishes installing/updating.

This is just some crap pic I took in the dark last night, running on my peasantvision 1080p TV / original PS4 so prob not doing it justice...but the lightning/atmosphere is incredible. By far the best snow/storm I've ever experienced in a game before

I checked Amazon last night and they guaranteed delivery today. I check today and now they say "Delivery date pending".
Maybe I shouldn't have ordered it 2 years ago.
That's annoying.

I cancelled my amazon copy, screw them. Picked it up at Best Buy and ended up with the preorder bonus anyway.

Bought a copy from EB Games this morning. Opened it up and it had the pre order bonus inside.

The environments in this game are astounding. Witcher 3 was the high mark in that department IMO, it’s been surpassed.

I hate how inconsistent amazon is. They offered me $5, and I asked for the same thing you did and they said a customer rep can only issue $15. So frustrating to deal with sometimes, and other times it's a piece of cake!
Edit: After a bit more persuading they gave me $15 credit and agreed to send another $15 but had to escalate the ticket. However, they did not cancel my original order.

Weird how R* has released an RDR2 companion app for iOS but not Android. I'm not sure they realize it's not 2009 anymore, but iPhone is not the overwhelming majority these days
