Checked out Titans. They have all the great superheros... like Bird Girl, Bad-CGI-Tiger Boy, Pimp Woman, 15-year-old girl...Girl... and last but not least... Robin!

Prediction: they cheap out on writing and rely on lazy anti trump humor. Why spend time and energy making it good when you know people gobble that #### right up?

Anyone watch "The Last Kingdom" ? I think it was a BBC series, but now up on Netflix.
I kinda went into it cold turkey not knowing anything about it. Started out kinda weird and seemingly low budget. But as it went I got completely hooked. Sad that it was only 3 seasons.
Set essentially during the reign of Alfred the great. Based on a fictional character who was born a Saxon but raised as a Viking.

If you liked the series you'll love the books. Bernard Cornwell is one of my favorites.

I'll second that, I'm a sucker for the dramatized histories
Roman Empire,
Crown,
Turn,
Marco Polo (listen to Dan Carlins Wrath of the Kahns podcast with this)
Medci, there's two of them, I'm not actually sure which one I watched.
Season 1 of Outlander then just stop and pretend there isn't more, the first season is pretty targeted at a middle aged female demographic, but I enjoyed the insight into Scottish nationalism, after that it takes a sharp turn to soapy romance fantasy, and fails to find the same level of insight about the other settings the drop the characters into, they send them to interesting times and places, but have nothing to say about their settings.

It's been renewed for a 4th season (I think just Netflix now, BBC isn't involved anymore). I think there are about a dozen books in the series, with each season being roughly 2 books, so still plenty of material they can cover.

I knew nothing about Titans going in.
Enjoyed it, didn’t mind the back stories, don’t know how faithful to the source material it is. Sometimes I like to just watch shows without having to invest more than watching time. I’m cool with that for this show.
Enjoyed it and will watch season 2.

This show is awesome. I'm mid-binge right now. Just started episode 1 of season 4 last night. Closest comparable is probably Boardwalk Empire, IMO.

Another recommendation for Russian Doll. Natasha Lyonne may play the same character all the time, but somehow she always makes it fit into the project she's involved in.

We watched the 1st episode last night. Good so far!
Would also recommend Sinners and You. Not the greatest shows in the world, but well done and well acted. Sinners had a good twist in the end. You is kind of Dexter meets romantic comedy, but darker.

Watched Age of Rage - Alt Right on Netflix tonight. Explores the movements from the Alt Right and Antifa. Very similar to the arguments seen here on CP between the two sides represented on this forum.

Not sure how long it's been there, but Won't You Be My Neighbor, the Mr. Rogers documentary is up. I've heard it's fantastic, so I'll be watching that while I'm at my super interesting and not at all boring job today.

Anyone else experiencing audio drop outs periodically of about a second in duration? It’s happening to us more on certain shows - lately Sex Education (which is really good).
