I buy my grips off Amazon in the off season. I got some Golf Pride tour velvets for $6.97 each.

I mean, I'd rather play Kananaskis, too. But for $99 that is amazing. It costs more to play Elbow Springs.

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Definitely in for a round with my buddy later this month. Maybe two if we can find the time.

All the power to you. But if that course was anywhere else in Alberta you likely wouldn't pay more that $75 for it. At least based on the last 3 times I have played it. I don't really take sites into my account of evaluating golf courses though.

I mean Mickelson is only $110 walk and an hour an 15 minutes closer.

I've played Serenity the past two weekends and it's the busiest I've seen it. Parking lot totally full, although once on the course I haven't felt rushed at all. The greens on the new 9 are a LOT slower than the original 18, but I expect that will even up as it matures.

This is absolute nonsense.

You are talking about a perennial top 5 course in the country.

The course is absolutely spectacular from anyway you look at it.

The designer is an absolute legend.

Sounds like you'd hate Pebble or Augusta.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but yours isn't worth a lick.

Thanks, fantastic deal. I was booked at kananaskis to play Lorette Monday morning but managed to find a spot open at 2:12 at Banff Springs instead!

Agree to disagree. I’ve talked to enough people that share my opinion that I don’t think it’s that out to lunch.

Ha, you'll be stuck behind me on Monday. Be prepared for a 6 hour round.

Why are you so aggressive for what is a commonly held view? Have you played outside of Alberta? Good grief.

Score golf rankings mean #### all.

Banff springs barely gets recognition if not for the mountain background.

I haven’t played there yet, so I really can’t say. But the thing with a golf course to me is that the location matters, and I love mountain courses. It seems a little silly to say that it only gets the recognition it does because it’s in a beautiful setting. Not many courses that people love get the reviews if they’re in the middle of the bald prairie.
