Those cases they're selling for the 5C are horrific. They look like Crocs.

They'd be fine without the cutouts on the back. The clashing neon colours is just a painful reminder of the 90s I don't want.

10:36 am System-on-a-chip A7 64-bit chip, first ever on a smartphone.
10:37 am Twice as many transistors for same physical space as the A6.
10:38 am iOS 7 updated for 64-bit. Native kernel, libraries and drivers, all built-in apps re-engineered.
10:38 am Full Xcode support, backwards compatible. "Benefits are huge." CPU and graphics are twice as fast. CPU is 40x faster than original iPhone, with half coming with jump between A6 and A7.
10:39 am OpenGL ES 3.0, up to 56x faster graphics performance than the original iPhone.

Guy from Epic Games, during demo of Infinity Blade 3:

10:41 am "Converting games to 64-bit is usually a painful process, but with Apple it took 2 hours."

That's refreshing to hear. Hopefully, this means wide-adoption among developers.

Nice tweaks to the camera.

EDIT: 120fps video is pretty cool too, slo-mo is fun.

Slo-mo and 720p video recording, both at 120fps.

Edit: 28 megapixel panoramic shots

Touch ID: fingerprint sensor in the home button.

10:58 am Sensor is 170 microns, 500ppi resolution, scans sub-epidermal skin layers and can read in any finger orientation.

Can use fingerprint to make App and iTunes store purchases (no more password confirmations!).

Smart (or just obvious) to allow it to deal with multiple fingerprints.

Still puzzling why apple thinks a 4inch screen is adequate for 2013.

No iPad updates at all then?

With over two years remaining on my current contract with an iPhone 5 I'm holding out for the iPhone 237S.

Always impressed how quickly they're able to make it available after their press events.

I saw "better than iPhone 5" mentioned when talking about battery life.
