Those teams always play Leafs hard. Or Leafs play down to them. But those are decent teams. Not BlueJackets or Blackhawks bottom of the barrel type teams.

Also the Leafs have their playoff opponent set at this point. So I imagine as a player it's hard to get up for every game. They just shut Matthews down for the month. If these games were meaningful I doubt they do it.
