Had to be before camp but after his arbitration case you would think.
Doubt he would have said he wouldnt be here before arbitration case.

My thoughts as well.
So Zadorov was brought back with an eye to being the team's #6. With Tanev hurt three times he's been forced into a #4 often.
Imagine if Michael Stone was the 4

We are in a playoff spot, this team isn't in last place. Sigh.
Just win, GFG.

A not small portion of CP would be way happier if we were in last place and this game was the Battle for Bedard.

Or even crazier - imagine if we'd given Gudbranson his contract, and someone else got Zad orov on his contract. Yeck.
Also, Zadarov/Zadorov is something I've done wrong so, so much since he got here.
If we do figure out that Kylington isn't coming back this season, I like the idea of Zadorov - Weegar even more going forward because Tanev elevates absolutely everyone - so the likelihood that we could acquire a depth LHD, and pair him with Tanev and form a brilliant pairing is way higher than doing that with Zadorov or Weegs in my eyes.

Well Weegar can't play worse than last game. Hopefully playing with big Z will help him out.

Zadorov was also signed before we traded for Weegar. So he was probably seen as the 4/5 at that time with Kylington also unsigned

Big Z signing was the best transaction by Treliving this summer! We really need another 2 or 3 Zadarovs.

it is interesting that Zadorov ended up being the gem between him and Guddy, and the Flames locked down the better guy
One of my favourite depth Flames in a while, and I don't fanboy over depth guys like some here
He's giant, mean, sometimes really skilled, and embraces Sutter hockey. Even though Russia isnt exactly the flavour of the week it is good to have a Russian here thriving who wants to be here
Scores important goals and I loved his effort in the playoffs against Edmonton to make a difference .. one of very few who showed up. And he had a broken body
Big fan

It already showed last playoffs. He was light years ahead of Gudbranson.
and the price we got Z to re-sign for was amazing!

Zadorov is now a better all around Dman than Kylington was, that's for sure.

All-around, sure. Kylington is better offensively though
Also the fastest player on the team

Have been disappointed with Weegar. I like the player but too many glaring turnovers. He has looked better rushing the puck, gap controls and denying zone entries lately. He seems to lack finish but it would be nice to see him get some pp time and see what he could do there. The team needs him to step up and be more reliable in his own end. Has not come as advertised yet.

Zadorov has made a big leap offesively though. He will likely finish with more goals than Kylington had last year, though far less points. He's tied with Rasmus for goal by Dmen.

I'd say he's doing pretty well in the 5v5 defensive side of things. Offensively could see a bit more output but I think it's hard to argue he's been solid on the defensive side of things.
