Was at this game tonight. I was surprised Pelletier wasn’t one of the 3 stars. I thought he looked really sharp. Played both PP and PK, so did Schwindt i believe.
Poirier was more noticeable than Kuznetsov, but not in a good way. He made some nice plays, not always the right play. Where as Yan, was the opposite. Werent always nice plays but they were the right play.
Good game overall. Weak goal by Wolf on his first one, but he was great after that.

I watched a lot of Yan while he played in the Q and his style of play reminded me of Tanev. Smart and effective but not flashy at all.

On Wednesday, Brett Sutter is set to become the 8th player in AHL history to play 1,000 games, when the Wranglers host his former team, the Reign.
Oddly, the last time a player played his 1,000th AHL game was also at the Saddledome, when Abbotsford played OKC on the weekend of the Heritage Classic in 2011: https://www.nhl.com/news/helmer-play...-game/c-553409

Easily one of the best games I have been to so far this season, crowd was also into it so it made for a really great night for anyone that braved the cold, was surprised at how many were at the game.

Highlights from tonight, basically just a Wolf highlights package, none of the Wranglers goals were anything too special. Nasty assist from Byfield on the Reign’s only goal.
Meloche does not look like someone who be a help at the NHL level. Oof.
Klapka won the fight.
