I generally hate snow but with something capable, yeah, I can deal. Out of my way, peasants!

Well no, I have two cars (three if you count the wife's), so I can take the one that makes the most sense for the forecast.

Yeah, I had to edit my post, as I didn't see your reply afterwards with all-seasons on the AM.

Somewhere along the way I have ended up with a second set of lug nuts that I believe are for an Infiniti sedan. Any ideas on how best to get rid of these?

Drop them off at a tire shop or Infiniti dealer? Maybe they keep spares around.

I just received an unsolicited offer from the Toyota dealership for my 2020 Highlander Hybrid with over 70,000 kms for what I paid for it, possibly even slightly more. Is this common these days?
I'm not going to take it because I still need the vehicle and can't wait 18 months for another one.

Same for our 2021 Highlander. Dealership might not even mark it up that much when they resell it, the real money is with the high interest rates now, especially for used vehicles. I assume most dealerships are contacting people who bought when the rates were really low hoping to snag their vehicles for a quick flip

Shout out to CP for the suggestions on my check engine light a few weeks ago. I got the BlueDriver tool, was able to diagnose the problem immediately (evap purge valve), and replaced it myself just a few days later. All in cost was just over $300, so the BlueDriver tool pretty much paid for itself already as I'm sure it would have cost more than that to take it in and get fixed.

I wanted to wait a little while to declare victory, but the check engine light has not come back on, so here I am. Thanks CP!

How do you like your Highlander? Did you get a Hybrid or the old fashioned ICE?

My spouse is hell bent on getting a new SUV come next summer. I can't seem to talk her out of it...so I'm going to lose this fight. Been thinking of a Hybrid Highlander to appease her. Best I can tell it's up to a 2 year wait so I might need to order one sooner than later if that's what I decide on.

Car prices are insane. Just saw an ad on my instagram of a dealership in Abbotsford listing the new Civic Type R (130kms driven) for $81K plus tax.

I like it, we got the regular ICE because it was actually in stock and we needed something that could transport 6 people. Interior quality is almost on-par with the few Lexuses I've been in and the V6 gives you plenty of power. We also test drove the Mazda CX-9 (I liked it, wife didn't like how far back she sat in it, 3rd row was very cramped) and the Honda Pilot (boring interior, looks like a minivan, felt underpowered). I really wanted to try out a Kia Telluride, but there was nothing available and the wife was pretty set on Toyota so we just pulled the trigger

Hi Everyone!

Might get some more exposure in this thread but also posted in the sponsored section...

The Following changes for February have been released this morning. This is for Jeep/Ram/Dodge/Chrysler Brand.

Great news on the rate front for February! Our brand has come out with the new incentives, and it's looking pretty promising.

The same discounts from January apply with the following:

(For All 2022 Models)

- 15% off Old Body Style Trucks includes Classic Express & Warlock
- 10% off MSRP New Body Trucks includes Limited, Longhorn, Laramie, Sport, Rebel & Bighorn
- 10% off MSRP for all Durango Models
- $1000 Bonus Cash for New & Old Body Trucks, Durango, Old and New Body Grand Cherokee (Excluding Hybrid)

New to this month are the following additional incentives:
- $2500 Consumer Cash for WK (Old Body) Grand Cherokee
- $1000 Bonus Cash applied to Wagoneer & Grand Wagoneer

The Rate portion is a little confusing but ill try to summarize:

Most 2022 models and select 2023s have this structure:

- 96 Months - 6.99%
- 84 Months - 5.99%
- 72 Months - 4.99%
- 60 Months - 4.49%
- 48 Months - 3.99%
- 36 Months - 1.99%

*These rates also apply to Wrangler which is amazing!*

- 36 Month Terms on New Body Grand Cherokee is at 0%

** Again this isn't for all models and years but more of a generalize overview**

96 month financing on a car. ####ing RIP. Turning cars into another subscription is why these things are so damn expensive now.

It's a Ram/ Dodge thing, it's called the never, never plan. Get your customer sucked into a lower payment, on a highly depreciating vehicle (Jeep Compass/ Dodge Journey) in order to be able to continuously burry the negative equity in order to "gain a customer for life".

I don't see Hellcat on the Dodge Canada site anymore, I think you're stuck with a Durango SRT 392 now.
