I have one of those USB C docks that worked perfectly with my deck. It has an ethernet port and made downloading super fast. Highly recommend the Anker USB C Hub, 555 USB-C Hub (8-in-1).

I also had a Wii U and the stand works perfectly with the deck.

I have not had issues with the controls, been playing GTA 5 and a few other games flawlessly. Nice to buy a system and not buy any games. I have years of backlog in Steam to catch up on. Plus the emulation.

Anyone get theirs recently? How long did it take from the time you paid? I got my email but it hasn't moved past processed payment for a few days. I know they have some delays to Canada right now, just want to get a rough idea of how long I should expect to wait.

I had to look it up in my emails.

But I was super early in the process so it might not line up with your experience. I received a "preparing for shipment" email 3 days after my initial order with tracking Fedex number. It arrived 2 days after that.

No more reservations, you can get steamdecks 1-2 weeks now. The super cheap version is behind though, October to December.

Do updates, there should be quite a few. Make a list of games you want to add to it first.

Buy a screen protector if that's your jam and add that before you start messing with it too much.

Go check out "Decky Loader" or "Crankshaft" if you want to use plugins (e.g. changing the saturation, getting more granular with system settings, etc.)

It comes very well set-up right out of the box. So make sure to charge it, turn it on, and enjoy it!
