Must be some old grandfathered TDL (temp diversion License). My company has this really old 40's era TDL that we could pump pretty much unlimited water from a certain river. We have no use for that much but other companies sure would like it. But you aren't allowed to sell the water apparently, just access to the water that you give away.

We're the only lake in Calgary that doesn't need city water. We just upgraded our pump to draw from elsewhere, have a new kick ass filter so the water will be clean af, and we aerate the water at night so it will never be stagnant.

I'll sit in my floaty and drink to calgarypuck's failed attempt at taking glee in my supposed misfortune all summer long.
