Funny I was just thinking that since the winning streak has really come together there's been little to no sign of Tinordi.

Then I notice he resurfaced in the GT today with the contrarian view on the Gio hit.

And the band plays on.

For the sake of Kidsports, I really hope Johnny hit his 100 pts with majority of them are goals. He pledge to donate $1000 to Kidsports for every goal he scores.

I wonder if Matthew Tkachuck can get to 25 goals aND 60 point's? Not quite Johnny numbers but that would be pretty awesome.

That would be magical. Edmonton would implode.

They'd comfort themselves by saying don't worry McDavid will soon break that mark, then it would be even more magical if he never does and 100pts was his career high.

Fun fact-the last Flames player to reach the 100 point plateau was Theo Fleury in 1992-93 (he got exactly 100).

It's still sad that Iggy stopped just short at 98 points in 07-08. Break that barrier Johnny!

After how his scoring slowed down in February I thought he was gonna max out at 90 points. I have faith again.

In addition to that it would be fun to see 4 PPG or over players on the roster.

Plus Gio who will be close! Pretty impressive for a defenseman.

Also, 2006-07, the only season he had a bit of time missed due to injury. He had 94 points in 70 games, which is actually better than what Johnny currently he has in 70 games.

The more I look at it, the 06-07 team has plenty of similarities to this one. Iggy, Tanguay, Langkow and Huselius combined is roughly what Johnny, Monahan, Lindholm and Tkachuk are on pace for.

One major difference is age though.

25, 23, 23, 20 for the current core

as opposed to 29, 26, 27, 29 for that 06/07 core.
