I looked at the wife and said Jankos going to win it.... I must be thinking wrong but I thought he looked awesome in the shootout and was in his hometown.
Johny’s our best player but is awful in shootouts....

Jankowski played with jam all night. That line looked great. Johnny could have single handedly won the game in OT and then in the shootout. He looked great.

It's astounding how wrong you are.

But please, stick to your predetermined narrative. It adds so much to this board.

At least they showed signs of being a good team. Baby steps.

Don't understand how Johnny got a penalty in ot, but the leafs didn't.
Good game from the flames though. They deserved two, but at least it wasn't a divisional game.

That was an entertaining game, if they played like that every night the bitching would be far, far, far less around here. Not even that upset about the result because they put in a terrific effort.

Calgary deserved a better fate, not a lot of passengers tonight.

I hate gg as much as everyone else but that was a solid road game and filled with any chances and solid d play for the flames. Probably one of the most complete games all year tbh

Flames played great tonight; Anderson stole that game for the Leafs. Play like that again tomorrow in MTL and we should be getting 2 points. Flames really played well in all facets of the game tonight

That was the most frustrating loss of the season for me.

That looked like the type of game a team has before ending a losing streak.

It would be so nice to win in Toronto for once. It's almost becoming Anaheimesque.

Good game by the Flames! Sucks to lose but we had our chance to end it in 3 V 3

Best game by the Flames this year and we get 1 point. That stings.

A lot of times when teams inch their way out of slumps and cold streaks, we see games like this where they deserve a better fate but still can't secure the W.

Definitely encouraging, and if I had to guess I think we see a similar effort tomorrow which hopefully ends with the desired result.

I don't think anyone can be unhappy about that.
