Well, bought it again. Better than when I first tried it in alpha but still not really my cup of tea. Got 2nd place in my 2nd round since re-buying.

I'll try duos with a friend from work to see if that makes it more enjoyable but for me this one still gets a giant meh.

One huge positive I'll note though is that the devs seem to know what they have and at least don't charge full AAA price for it. I respect that. I'd way rather pay $35 for a meh game than $80 for the usual junk that's out there

Thanks for the offer. I'm sure that would make it funner, solo doesn't intrigue me much. Which is weird because in most games I hate playing with others

Do you play TPP(Third Person Perspective) or FPP(First Person Perspective)?

I find FPP to be more realistic, fun and a bit easier.

If you're on PC, Discord has a "Looking For Group" function for a lot of games, including PUBG, so you don't have to drop with total randoms. When my buddies aren't around, I've found some pretty dece groups to run with there.

Xbox Live has the same "Looking for Group" function as well.

I own PUBG on both PC and my X1X, but a higher percentage of friends are playing it on the Xbox, so that's where most of my playtime has been spent. Actually won a 4-person squad game the other day, and was in the top 10 twice as solo.

I love playing it in a squad, teamwork and communication is a must.

Have you not had the misery of playing an FPS on console before? I'm sure it is terrible. I played COD a few times on PS3 and I will never play another FPS on console again.

I find it to be an awful experience to get used to the thumb stick.

I have which is why I'm asking.

I can barely play console FPS as is, I can't imagine going from PC to console and trying to make the same game work the same way. Must be infuriating.

I've done it to play with my son as well as a friend and it's hell on earth.
