Cadillac ad I can't get rid of on android phone
Sometimes when I am trying to make a post from my Android phone I get a Cadillac ad banner that pops up and I can't do nothing except click on the ad which takes me away from CP. There is no way to close the ad that I can find.

Is this in a browser, or is this on Tapatalk?

I will echo that this is a problem with safari on the iPhone as well. Terrible obtrusive ad that doesn’t allow me to do anything but click it.
Edit: mines a Jira ad currently and it doesn’t not allow me to click anything on the top section of the forum without clicking the ad.
No more mobile cp for me until it’s gone not by choice but I literally cannot access the main hockey forum.

Yep, same here. I had to install an ad blocker just to be able to use the site.

Again, is it Tapatalk or the site?
If it's the site, at the top right of every ad there's a little 'x' or dropdown and you can select to report the ad and there's an option to report an ad that covered content. Or let Bingo know and he can send a note to Google about the ad.
If it's Tapatalk, we have no control over what they put up for ads, so you'd need to contact them.

Sorry I had mentioned mobile safari so I thought that was clear it wasn’t tapatalk, I should have elaborated. And I can confirm there was no X on this add and it’s active window was much larger then the add itself so you could not click around it. I imagine the X is there but transparent so you can’t click it away.
I will just run the Ad blocker until it’s gone

Agreed, there is no x in the top corner to close it, it just sits there in the middle of the screen and doesn’t let me do anything.
Also on safari. Not Tapatalk.

Sorry did see the Safari.
How about other non-problem ads? They should look like this:
If it's just the problem ads that don't have it, then it's possible Google let some ads into the rotation that aren't correct.
If they don't have that at the top right, then they're not our ads, maybe something else is installed that's hijacking our ads.

The ads on the side are fine. This one pops up right in the middle of the screen slightly right of dead middle. It is tall and skinny and prevents all clicking on the main forum

That's weird, we don't even have an ad there, we've got the one on the right side, and one on the top far right.
I wonder if it's the far right one being duplicated somehow, I'll try refreshing a bunch in Safari to see if I can reproduce it. Or maybe it's the top one but Google is serving the wrong sized ad? Instead of being horizontal it's picking a vertical one that covers everything? That kinda makes sense actually.
If you or anyone ever sees it again maybe grab a screenshot and we can at least send it to Google.

Yeah I would say that's an error with the ad itself, since other ones don't do that.
And the ad has the little blue icon that you can click but it doesn't give the options that are normally there with all the ads on the site, which includes a way to report that an ad is covering content to Google. (EDIT: Yeah after looking at a bunch of ads, some have the blue X and some don't, not sure what's up with that)
I'll PM this thread to Bingo and he can report it to Google as it looks like the code with a specific ad is flawed, but it's not something we do or control.

It seems like this wonderful ad is back and nothing on the top half page can be click on mobile safari.
Tried to attach pic but it’s being ridiculous.

I am getting the same issue today: vertical air Canada ad, in the top 1/4 of every page.
Mobile, android.

Another one here... Site is unusable unless I reload the forums completely. Ad covers a good chunk of my screen, can't be closed and I can't click on anything else. Looks a bit like the photo bucket post above
