After watching YouTube for a while I want Animal Crossing so much.

It’s so wholesome and relaxing. It’s definitely want I need right now.

Animal Crossing is one of the subtle dark-horse Nintendo franchises.

It's even a surprisingly good game for seniors if they can get the hang of it.

I've just got so many other games that I can play, I shouldn't buy it now.

I love Animal Crossing. Being stuck at home, I think it's going to be the perfect daily distraction I need

My first design. It needs work because I didn’t know how it would fit on a shirt.

Jumped into animal crossing my kids are loving it but it is definitely causing a rift in the house because everyone wants to play it

Ha! I’ve been making terrible designs for my favourite punk bands too! The only one I’m satisfied with is my Alkaline Trio design. The PRO Designs are much easier for dimensions and you can see the shirt as you make it.

Loving the game so far. Not sure I’m crazy about the crafting system yet but that will probably come with time. I’m just used to the old games. Another downside for me was that you don’t get access to your entire village right off the bat. I picked a layout with an island where I planned to put my house but I couldn’t get there because I didn’t have a vaulting pole yet

The Nook Miles, however, are a fantastic addition. I love visiting random islands with my tickets and getting more fruits. Some other additions I like are the outdoor furniture and 24 hour support from the store.

I love this iteration of AC so much. I need to fix the jank hat but i always get a kick out of the customization in this game

Animal Crossing is fantastic.

I'm not sure there could be a more perfect game to help distract from what's going on in the real world right now.

I caved and bought it.

I see the day-skip glitch from Pokemon Sword and Shield works, that's kind of nice actually, I wouldn't want to use it like some to cheat resources (go back 10 years, deposit money, skip forward 10 years, have millions in interest), but it is nice to account for working around when I can play... Being able to shift into times when I usually can't play, or roll forward a day when I want to keep playing but don't have anything left to do is a nice option to have.

I have quite the large collection of critters and fossils lying around the museum for when it finally opens lol.

Just picked it up. Never played the original. Looking forward to killing some time with it.

Bells doesn't seem to be much of an issue for me at this point (upgraded my house a few times, next upgrade I think is another room), and am starting to save up a lot of miles so I can go on a search for tarantula island.

I'm at the point where I'm starting to forget which species I've already caught and contributed, but apparently if you catch a brand new species you'll say "Yes" when you catch it, which is nice, and if you check in the app on the phone it'll tell you if you've contributed that species to the museum or not.

From what I understand the species change as the year goes by should I check any guides to pick up any species that stop being available after March?

im not 100% on this site(first result from google), but lots of community made graphics can be found that show what bugs and fish are available in certain months, and what times you can find them

I just got the game and I can't wait to play after work!

Any tips to know before I start playing?

Yes a big one the first person that plays the game is the island resident they are the only ones who can progress the story in the first week (I hope it is only the first week) every account after the first person doesn't get to experience the same as the first player
