If TFC gets through, they host Seattle in the Cup Final. Which is also the same night as a watered down UFC 206 which I have tickets for. IMO, either of TFC or Montreal will be in very tough against Seattle in MLS Cup. The Sounders have been fantastic ever since they promoted Schmetzer and brought in Lodeiro. Plus, as someone who really finds it hard to support the Whitecaps, it's just too perfect to see both their rivals win MLS Cup in consecutive years.

Tv ratings were great for the last game... Considering these are midweek games, lots of attention in canada for these and a great response, this is a big plus for the game in Canada as far as creating new fans... An mls cup final at bmo would be icing on the cake and if montreal wins, i think they will get smoked but will be watching and pulling for them anyway.

I'm a Whitecaps supporter (until Calgary gets a MLS franchise) but am pulling hard for TFC. I think it will be a 2-1 triumph for TFC and they will host a Grey Cup and MLS final at BMO this year.

Despite what others have posted, this is huge for the sport in Canada.

Can the Skydome still arrange itself for soccer if it is looking pretty wintery by the mls cup? Seems silly to try to play outdoors in December with an indoor stadium in proximity.

Wow, couldn't watch this live but caught up later and that playoff was an instant classic. Unbelievable to me that from 10 years ago with no meaningful club soccer in Canada other than a-league that we're seeing scenes like that tonight in a soccer stadium in front of that kind of crowd.

Hopefully Giovinco isn't injured is my only concern, otherwise hugely looking forward to the MLS final.

They cant play football in it anymore so I would think no to footy as well.
