My fav?
Inner and outer gear shapes signify strong and formidable force while reinforcing the concept of teamwork and industriousness. They provide the stability upon which the 'well-oiled machine' is built. Gears, like team members, need to be strong and work together in order to succeed. They operate in a dynamic environment and always need to be ready to perform when called upon.

I'd be fine with an updated horse head shoulder patch. Like it or not, there's a ranching history to the city. Something less cartoonish perhaps?

Yeah, something minimal maybe. Like a single colour silhouette to go with the C. Easy to see on tv, the intricate stuff doesn’t pop on tv.

Strangely enough, my flames fandom was really cemented during the young guns era, since it coincided with my formative teenage years I suppose. Because of this, I've come to love and cherish just about everything that went on during the mid- to late nineties, including the horse head. I would love to see it being used again in some capacity at some point.

IMO the horse head jerseys are a solid #3 overall for the Flames jerseys behind the retros and the 2003 red jerseys that have the horse heads on the shoulders and same basic jersey design with the colors being swapped. The pedestal jerseys and the current ones are the only jerseys I don't own because they are terrible.

I don't mind the present ones. I dislike the Heritage Classic jerseys. And the pedestal of course. I love Firesnot.

This logo/black jersey basically made me a Flames fan. As a kid I just didn't like the Ketchup/Mustard look of the team and the pedestal jerseys didn't do it for me.
I loved that jersey and the crappy Flames of 1999-2003 when we used it.

The Night Mare, from D&D:
http://aithonautomation.com/about.html
Greek mythological history of the steed Aithon.
Aithon is from Greek mythology, meaning Fiery, Burning.
The Horses of Ares (the god of war) are four gold-bridled immortal horses.
Aithon - also known as Red Fire
Phlogeus – Flame
Konabos – Conabus or Tumult
Phobos – Panic-Fear
The four steeds parents are Boreas (North Wind) and & Tisiphone (1 of 3 of The Erinyes – goddesses of vengeance)

Doesn't nearly every city (and especially nearly every city in North America) have some type of agricultural history?

Well, even if they do, ranching is a bit more specific.

If you want to honour a ranching history wouldn’t a flaming bull or cow be more appropriate?
Personally I think we should honour the fur trading history with a flaming beaver.

As much as I hated the 90's striped abomination red jerseys, the black Horsehead jerseys made me wish for them back. Black jerseys from the darkest era in team history. Please stay dead.

Not agriguculture. But every single city probably had horses and fire at some point.
