This update makes the game a bit better and more fun to play. Still not D1 or D2 level of fun.
However, how do I collect paragon points? I've never heard of, or come across them, in D3. Is there something specific I have to do?
Thanks,
ers

Once you hit level 60 you get 1 paragon point per level after that. Its pretty fast

I enjoy the game a ton now and I was a CM wizard which became useless now. Played the new patch for about 2-3 hours and got 4 legendaries.

I think the Adventure mode in the upcoming expansion will go a long way to fixing that.

Saw a video on how ridiculously fast you can rush a character right now.
If, for example, I took one of you into a Torrent I game, and you were level 1, within an hour you would be level 60....

For those that don't use a follower... they are pumped up a bit now.
My enchantress has 220K health toughness and 75K DPS!
Edit, sorry, correction on the 220K... it is toughness not health. She has 55K health.
That said, I just found an ammy that bumped her up to 85K DPS.. holy crap...
Edit 2... noticed she only had a star ruby in her Skorn... dropped in a radiant star and she is now.... 92.5K DPS.... heck, I can almost retire!

Alright, I've just run a few hours on my Demon Hunter. My build is actually pretty good for Torment one and I feel I could get by with some work in Torment 2.
Few things I've noticed, my hate was nerfed pretty hard but the raven pet got a nice bump it's regen of hate per recall, so my rapid fire is endless right now but I need to put some thought into it, which is cool.
Dropped a legendary bow that was a MASSIVE upgrade on the hand crossbow I had, something like 5.8% increase in damage.
For those that are interested, this is how I use my DH
Main attack: Entangling shot w/slow.
Special attack: Rapid fire with lvl 60 add on.
1. Rain of Arrows level one.
2. Chakram (Also Marked for Death depending on how I feel but my current bow has Marked for Death imbued on it so I use Chakram.)
3. Shadow Power W/Health regain on hit (Paired with Rain of arrows and Rapid fire, It's rare I die or take extensive damage. would be a terrible build if the rebuff timers were slower on these but it's good ATM)
4. Companion Raven. Gives a solid block of hate regen. great for when you're in scores of mobs and you want to mow them down or need just a little more to finish off an Elite. Let the hate flow through you.
As for the new add on's for Elite Mobs, Thunderstorm is the absolute worst I've discovered for DH. Any Elites I've come across that spell just annihalates me. Usually take many deaths to clear those bassterds. Also that new Poison grid is heavy, really heavy on the DoT. Wow. They nerfed the Molten though, along with mortar. I can actually fight those guys now, Mortar used to do what Thunderstorm does now to my DH.
I'll do a synopsis of my Barb when I get into him later tonight.

One weird thing I noticed is all the stuff that I had in my stash has a sale price of almost nothing. Lvl 60+ stuff sell price of 6 or 7. And it's my whole stash. Weird.

That's all the pre-2.0 patch stuff. Just melt it down for crafting materials, as the stuff that drops has normal sell prices

That's the only problem I have with the loot 2.0 stuff. Since everything that drops is geared for your class (I'm a Monk), I can't get anything with intelligence on it to give her. It also means the only alt that I could pass down loot to is my Demon Hunter

I am finding lots of stuff for an enchantress so if you need anything, drop me a PM, or catch me in the CalgaryPuck community chat channel.

Played one run though Normal Act 1 today. Got sizable upgrades to damage and life by replacing boots, hat from drops and spending 90k on a cloak from the auction house.
My stash is packed full, good to hear I can just melt it all down.
I kind of forgot how to play the DH though. I am still running Elemental Arrow (Lightning Ball) and Hungering Arrow that I am pretty sure was nerfed before I quit last time, so I need to play around with some options.

Your Wizard is a straight up wrecking ball at my level (Torment 1). Sheesh!
Thanks for the runs though, really exposed some weaknesses I have with my Barbarian.
Any other Barbarians that use Earthquake notice its fairly weak?

Played with Shawnski and Choy's (brother I think) today in T1. Was quite an experience and I got some real nice drops, and hand me downs.
Thanks again.
