Demon is on point today Felix is definitely going to have to get it together! That perfect between the legs shot was unreal

Alright that was fairly ridiculous... perfect lob from Felix and then a tweener lob onto the baseline. Brutal.
EDIT: Felix is still really dedicated to hitting the ball very close to the baseline. Obviously a point of focus from a strategy perspective, and he seems to want to stick with it even though the accuracy hasn't been great.
Also the coverage I'm watching is really pro-ADM. Weird.

ADM is winning all the big points thus far, Felix is getting break chances, but he's failing to convert.
Edit: Case in point right there, that's an easy mid-court forehand, you can't miss that shot.

I mean ADM is playing well on those big points but you have to give yourself more opportunities by not making the dumb mistakes in between... You can't be going for a straight winner and hitting it long or dumping a 2nd serve return into the net. Get the ball in play, wait for your opportunity and then hit the big forehand.
Bad luck with the net cord there though.

Basically both guys are playing like garbage and whoever gets it together first will win but this is ugly to watch.

Back on serve, that was a fine return game from Felix.

Does he normally play without one?

Yeah, I think because of the time of day and the brilliant sun, he donned the cap, but he normally doesn't wear one.

FAA lucky ADM dumped that 2nd serve return into the net on set point.

Okay Felix, how about a break of the Demon serve to avoid a 2nd set tie-break?
Edit: Nope - To the tie-break we go.

Double faults really hurt in tiebreakers

That return by Felix at 7-7 in the tie-break must have landed right on the back of the baseline. We're all square at 1 set apiece.

Actually, Felix won more points than ADM did in set 2 ergo Felix is full value for winning that set in my opinion.
