Its hard to know how good this Lions team is because the Raiders didnt offer much resistance, but they have good pieces everywhere and the coaching has them all pulling in the same direction.
Really interested to see how things go come playoff time.

Eh, Davante literally chose to go catch passes from Derek Carr on one of the NFL's poorest franchises instead of a top 10 all-time QB, this is primarily his own fault. Although it's gonna be hilarious how "unified": other fanbases will be when he ends up in Carolina.

Saw some rumblings that the Vikings might be looking at Jameis Winston. I can't see it with it being mid season...maybe the Saints do it to take the Vikings out of competing with them for a playoff spot.
Looking ahead to this next week..the 4 teams on bye are all settled at the QB position even if Wilson, Goff, and Purdy are all considered mediocre...leaving 28 teams where it feels like half of them will be trotting out bad or really unproven QB's. By my count if you include Stroud, Young, and Levis as proven preferred starters. That's 14 of 28 teams having a QB who might be there next year starting...15 if Watson can go.
Feels like QB is in terrible shape league wide right now.

Good trade for both sides? Bears need defensive help, but they'll be lucky to win 2 more games this year so this will end up being the 34-35th pick in the draft.

I assume the Bears are willing to put the franchise tag on him if they can't sign him to a deal in the offseason? Otherwise this trade makes no sense for them.

Well with the Commanders in full tank mode they should probably be looking to unload McLaurin too, could easily fetch at least a 2nd.
