That is why people hate soccer sometimes, the Russians are playing an admirable game against a technically superior opponent, what are these teams, like 60 ranking spaces apart?
Even so, the Russians are playing a great game, they cant beat the Spanish at their possession game, so they're doing what every team does against Spain, they let them have the ball and attack and press when the opportunity arises and conserve energy when Spain are just screwing around.
Spain are doing the same, just holding possession until they spot a mistake and then trying to strike.
But its boring.
Hopefully the Russians can knock these guys out so they can go back to sipping Sangria and sampling Tapas while engaging in endless debate for or against Catalonian independence.
