Making West Coast teams go accross the Country on a short week is really unfair in terms of scheduling. San Francisco has been rock solid this year, but thats a nasty bit of scheduling that they were handed there. Although the Niners are perfect in the Eastern time zone this year.
I think the Ravens end up winning that one largely due to San Francisco having to travel that far on a really short week. If this was a late game on Sunday, than I think it's a very even match up.

Vince also had a strip club issue and subsequent arrest as well. It happened in a Dallas strip bar. i might be wrong about the "making it rain" but he was nonetheless arrested for starting a fight.. Jeff Fischer must have loved having him and Pacman on the team at the same time

Speaking of Fisher....where will that guy wind up next year?

He would fit right in with their history of hiring coaches who can't get it done.

If so, 3/4 of professional athletes and musicians have character issues. One of the interceptions wasn't his fault and should have been pass interference, but it doesn't matter.

That's not the issue, the ensuing fight in the back room that is on video is.

fair enough, but who would you suggest. Shanahan is a "winner" but really what has he done since Elway retired? Chucky Gruden? Cowher? Tony Dungy? i would hope the Chargers would go the route of a team like Pittsburgh or New Orleans and bring in a young guy rather than a retread.... but they will find a way to screw it up.

But in that case Vince was justified in fighting. The guy did an upside down longhorns sign, what else was he supposed to do?

I wouldn't compare Tebow to Vick. When Tebow is running it is almost always a designed run. the win against the bears would be a bonus for sure and a tall order but I don't think I'm out of line saying that you're a little bit over confident.
|
Your right, I wouldnt compare Tebow to Vick either, but the designed QB runs are what im referring to more then QBs being flushed. The Bears linebackers are extremely fast and disciplined, they dont often bite rf overcommit and between Urlacher and Briggs they spy extremely well. Other games I could see the Bears losing in the traditional fashion facing a well balanced attack, while the Bears play a one-dimensional run heavy game, but the Broncos are even more one dimensional and in the big picture, still a bad team that has beaten less bad teams.
There is no way that this defense, now carrying the team hopefully to the playoffs is going the let Tebow run over them and without that option the Broncos are hopeless. They have had to win games ugly for the past decade and they will do it again for the remainder of this season.
With or without Cutler I think the Bears walk out of Denver with a pretty convincing win

Cowher or a young guy.... Fisher isn't the answer for anyone and I felt the same way about Shanahan. There are older guys who can adapt to the changing game and then there are the ones who are inflexible. Gruden could probably get it done as well.

My point wasn't that he wasn't being an idiot. It was that there are other players who are very successful in this league who have much worse character issues (Rapeslisberger, Lewis) off the field. VY's issues while not helping aren't that bad compared to some others. It's how he has acted in a team environment that has hurt him and his tendency to throw interceptions. One of Fisher's biggest mistakes though was constantly benching Young even though Young had proven he can make up for his mistakes late in games as evident once again last night.

If I play a sweetheart teaser my choices are KC with 23.5 points or New England with 11.5. I'd need 31.5 points before I even think of taking the Chiefs. But I do like under 53, on my teaser. You don't get many 62-7 games a year so when one teams providing all the points...tough to go over.
Official prediction is New England 41, Chiefs 0. Yay Palko!

I have them on my teaser too! I took them at +23.5 points and i do think that they will cover that. The Pats are good, but the Law Firm is not good and will allow the team to play alot of nickel tonight
