Just so screwed up.

It's beyond pathetic that these people think that Trump gives a s*** about any of them. You made your choices, lady. And you're going to jail. Nobody is gonna bail you out, least of all Trump.

I would be worried if the United States military wasn’t the largest on the planet by orders of magnitude. They will systematically snuff out the Timothy McVeigh acolytes.
Like the war on terror this addresses the symptoms not the root cause.

It was malice and insurrection with forethought and will. Nobody put a gun to your head to do this.
"We're facing Prison time in response to doing something highly illegal."
You dont say...
I can understand the line of thinking that if Trump hadnt put them up to it they may not have done it....but at the same time you also could have exercised some judgement and conscience just not done it. Nobody forced you.
And frankly...what they did was unprecedented and I'm thinking there are some heavy hitters out there who are adamant about sending a concrete statement that this will not be tolerated.
In the words of the Immortal Bender....you're boned.

Also...its hard to get over the hilarity of:
"Wealthy, White Female feels 'persecuted' for being held accountable for crimes she committed."

For the same reason they didn't hide their faces and posted their crimes to social media. They fully believed they were doing the right thing to save the country and would be rewarded by the President for their heroism. They weren't coerced but they were definitely brainwashed. I'd feel sorry for them except they still should have known it was wrong to storm the Capitol.

well judging by his previous taste in women I'm guessing she could come up with something he might pardon her for

Instead of asking for pardons, shouldn't they be asking Trump for forgiveness? They've admittedly failed the Prime MAGA Directive.

I for one hope that on December 20th every reporter who talks to Trump starts asking him why he didn't pardon these great fine, beautiful, wonderful, amazing, patriotic Americans, who wanted to defend the country against a disgraceful, terrible, awful, dishonest, stolen election.
At least until he accidentally says something to convince these people that he truly loathes them.
Wouldn't want to accidentally give him too many ideas in advance.

Why wait eleven months to ask?
In all seriousness, I have a hard time believing he gives the media any time before his disgraced exit. He's already said he won't attend the inauguration, he's probably going to Mar-a-lago that morning.

Trump, in my humble opinion, will just continue to do what he loves. Hold rallies every couple weeks, continue to call the election rigged, call the impeachment a witch hunt, weasel his way out of every possible indictment, bank loans and evade any other possible consequence for his actions. Just a hunch.

With Trump he will always find money. I’m pretty sure Paul Manafort owns an event company, Trump has unfettered access to the hundreds of millions in his Save America PAC, and the cycle of grift will continue. Or eventually someone else will put up cash for him, plus he has a gaggle of sycophants that will do his bidding. There’s too much money to be made to let this all just fizzle out.
