The young wingers who have played with Kadri have given him a lot of praise for helping develop their game and mentoring them.

There are some heavy salacious rumors on the old ####ter about the sens right now. But, backed up by this random Ullmark move they made.

Ullmark got caught cheating and sold the entire team out. Vindictive wife went and spilled the tea to all the other wives and GFs. Brady's in deep doodoo allegedly.
And the entire team wants Ullmark traded asap. That's why he had to take a leave of absence.
What is it with Swedes and their wives blowing Ottawa up.

Oilers would actually have been able to capitalize on this if they hadn't painted themselves into a corner with Mangiapane and Frederic.

I’d say let’s not post any social media stuff, but oh my is it blowing up online.

It's impossible to pick which two to move without knowing the offers (and I'd prefer they move all 3) but if I had to pick it would be Andersson and Kadri
Andersson is obvious.
Kadri I think is more at risk of his value tanking. I think Coleman value probably more consistent this year to next, his value will drop but not as much IMO

I wonder if they exit Brady over this. That would sure be something.

Is there any chance the league lets them off the hook at the end of the season (before the draft lottery)? Something makes me think they have rescinded a lost draft pick penalty before for a team.

Dreger on insider trading says Kadri is happy here but open to going to a contender. Lebrun talks about Coleman again with the Habs.

If the value isn’t there for Kadri because of his contract then the Flames probably just keep him

The rest of the season will be a chance to evaluate players by giving them opportunities in significant roles. Try Zary and Coronato on a line together. Don’t think I’ve seen that since November 2024.

But why? Since coming back Zary has done nothing to show that he's willing to be physical and engage with other players...indeed, quite the opposite IMO. And that is a HUGE disadvantage for a Centre.

and thus begins the Bennett cycle.
Something to be said about giving a young player an opportunity and stability.

My opinion is that the flames can afford to give him the opportunity and hope that he regains confidence from that opportunity. You’re correct that his aggressiveness has not been the same since the injury and there’s a good chance that this does not work for the flames. But… what do they have to lose in this scenario? At worst, he proves that he can’t make it as a centre in the NHL and the flames. At best, he regains his form from early last season and gets back on track. The only other center in the organization that could be given the same opportunity is Kerins - and I’d be fine with that too. J think the flames should take this season to give guys like Zary/Kerins a shot at a top 3 centre role to know wha they have. Would hate to trade Zary after never giving him much a shot at that spot only to find him regain his form with another organization that did give him that good opportunity at centre.

All of the sudden what could have been a 1st + could turn into a 4th. That is not good asset management.

It is when he decides whether stays or goes.
