The pedestrian option to get into the restaurant doesn't look much better. I'd estimate probably 150-200 vehicles lined up with 100 or more people standing in line. That would have to be 3 hours minimum to get a fast food chicken burger. Who are these people? That's bonkers.

hahahaha what a bunch of losers. They could have just went to YYC when it was open there. Never more than 2 or 3 people in line. It was pretty mid.

There is a wicked stomach bug going around that my son and I both came down with. I haven’t barfed like that in decades and I’m pretty sure I evacuated a 20+ year old hotdog that was hiding in some decrepit corner of my colon.

Imagine shaving a few hours off of your life to shave a couple weeks off of your life with a terrible carb-injected meal.
I'd much rather waste hours of my life chasing more sensible senseless hedonistic pleasures.

I think I’ve found a gear grinder.

You're only allowed to spell it "tyres" if you've got a British vehicle.
So, how about those winter tyres? On that note, it GMG that I would have been PERFECTLY FINE to have fitted them on November 12th as I had planned instead of doing it early due to what looked like craptacular weather. Then again, my summer rims have been with Calgary Rim Repair getting all the last owner's "park by feel" marks out, so it was a worthwhile decision all the same.

It's actually the original spelling but the British really should retire it. Attire which is where the word originated and tire is the natural offspring as tyre is not a lot different than people that name their kids Jaxon instead of Jackson. It's dumb.

Hey, as long as all these British versions of spelling are valid in Scrabble I'm good with keeping them around.

'Tire' is almost exclusively a US and Canada thing. In most Commonwealth nations, it's 'tyre', which is a hell of a lot more countries than use 'tire'. And while 'tire' has several meanings -- a vehicle tire, or to grow weary of something ("I tire of your pedantry about the word tire") -- the word 'tyre' has one very specific meaning, which I would argue makes it the superior spelling.

Yes, but from my perspective, my culture is neutral and normal and everyone else's isn't.

There should be a law that if you design an intersection with left turning lanes, the left turn lights need to be long enough for the entire lane to clear. If it's faster for me to go straight through, turn around at the next block, then make a right, then your design ####ing sucks. That means you 68th St and 16th Ave NE
